This weekend we’ll be taking a short trip to attend the memorial for Seth’s Grandfather.  Saturday is the day for the service, which would have been his 92nd birthday.  He and Grandma were looking forward to celebrating 70 years of marriage in May.  I find that to be remarkable and special!  He was the father of nine and the grandfather and great grandfather of…many!  He loved the Lord,  had a twinkle in his eye and told great stories.  When the family gathers this weekend, I’m sure many of those will be relived and retold, with tears and laughter.  Even though he was Seth’s grandpa, I felt privileged to call him that, too.  He will be missed.
